Normalia® Fast

Reduction of acute intestinal absorption disorders

For the reduction of acute intestinal absorption disorders in dogs and cats (e.g. acute diarrhea due to food indiscretion). During acute diarrhea and subsequent periods of convalescence.

Normalia® Fast is not a veterinary drug, but a complementary dietary food for dogs and cats.

Use

Administer the product for 5-10 days at the daily quantity indicated in the table.

It is preferable to administer the whole capsule by placing it at the base of the tongue so that it can be swallowed. Alternatively, the capsule can be opened by mixing its contents with food. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use.

Simultaneous oral use with macrolides should be avoided.

Properties

Palmitoyl-glucosamine (PGA) is a naturally occurring substance that helps maintain the integrity and physiological function of the intestinal lining. The micronized form (PGA-m) improves the bioavailability of PGA and its ability to keep the intestines of dogs and cats affected by acute diarrhea healthy.

The synergy between tannic acid (vegetable polyphenol with astringent action) and bentonite (clay mineral with adsorbent action) is able to increase the consistency of the stool, slowing down intestinal transit.

The electrolyte complex (sodium, potassium and magnesium salts) restores the correct hydro-saline balance compromised during diarrhea.

Ingredients

COMPOSITION: Palmitoyl-glucosamine (24.1%), sodium chloride, potassium sulphate, sodium pyrophosphate, yeasts, lupine flour, sunflower seed oil, maltodextrin (highly digestible ingredient), magnesium chloride.

ADDITIVES Technological additives: bentonite (483092 mg/kg).

Flavorings: tannic acid (483 mg/kg).
