Candioli Gastrocure is a gastroprotective supplement for horses, presented in paste form in 50g syringes, sold in packs of 24 doses. This product is designed to protect the horse's stomach mucosa from the negative effects of stress.
It can be used as an adjunct to usual pharmacological therapies in the case of EGUS (Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome), to provide a continuous contribution over time to gastric integrity in the event of stress of various kinds such as potentially harmful pharmacological therapies at a gastric level (NSAIDs, corticosteroids, antibiotics, etc.), stable changes, nutrition and competitions.
Furthermore, Candioli Gastrocure can be used as an aid for those subjects suffering from oral stereotypies (supportive chin) associated with states of hyperacidity.

Composition
The composition of Candioli Gastrocure includes alfalfa, soybean expeller, sucrose, calcium carbonate, vegetable oil and fats, magnesium hydroxide, methyl sulfonyl methane, vitamins and provitamins, emulsifiers and stabilizing agents, natural products, amino acids, and preservatives.
Furthermore, it contains vegetable oils and fats (refined sunflower oil), Dextrose (12%), Malt, Guar seed flour, Fatty acids esterased with glycerol (glyceryl monostearate), Calcium carbonate, Magnesium hydroxide, Methyl sulfonyl-methane, Pisllio-Plantago Ovata L.- cuticle powder, inactivated brewer's yeasts, Products obtained from the processing of vegetables (aloe vera L.), chloride of sodium.
The additives per kg include L-Threonine, Trigonella foenum-graecum, liquorice extract, blend of flavoring substances - apple flavouring, Vitamin E, emulsifiers and preservatives.
Method of administration
Candioli Gastrocure syringes are easy to administer and can be given directly to the horse. The recommended dose varies based on the weight of the horse and the indications of the veterinarian.
