Therapeutic indications

Fly stop extra is a liquid insect repellent to be applied to horses, dogs and cats. The product combines the effectiveness of deet, an active ingredient used as a human repellent for decades, with that of geraniol.

The product is effective for up to 12-24 hours thanks to the particular technology developed by our company: the deet is in fact enclosed within microcapsules, which release the active ingredient slowly, prolonging the effectiveness of the product over time.

Geraniol, on the other hand, is free in the formulation and immediately protects animals from attacks by flies and ticks.

The product is pleasantly scented. Fly stop extra is effective against flies and ticks.

Dosage and administration

Before application, brush the animal's coat to remove dirt and dust.

Spray the product evenly on the animal from a distance of about 20 cm, avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth.

For the application of the product on particularly sensitive parts such as the muzzle, it is recommended to spray the product on a tissue and then apply it to the animal's skin.

After application the product is effective for up to 12-24 hours.

Approximately 250 ml of product are needed to treat a medium-sized adult horse.
