Therapeutic indications

Anthelmintic for the treatment of parasitic infestations caused by toxocara canis, toxascaris leonina, toxocara cati, trichuris vulpis, ancylostoma caninum, ancylostoma braziliense, uncinaria stenocephala, dipylidium caninum, taenia spp.

Dosage and administration

For oral use. For dogs and cats. One tablet for every 8 kg of the animal's weight (equal to 20 mg of active substance/kg body weight) for infestations with toxocara canis, toxascaris leonina, toxocara cati, trichuris vulpis, ancylostoma caninum, ancylostoma braziliense, uncinaria stenocephala (round worms), even if mixed. One tablet for every 4 kg of animal weight (equal to 40 mg of active substance/kg body weight) for dipylidium caninum and taenia s.p.p. infestations. (flatworms) and for mixed roundworm and flatworm infestations. In both cases the indicated dose must be administered for three consecutive days. The tablet can be easily divided into four parts, each of which can be used to treat 2 kg or 1 kg of animal depending on the type of parasitic infestation. Place the tablet on a flat surface with the side with the score lines facing upwards. Press the center of the tablet with your thumb to divide it into 4 quarters. If administration is difficult, the tablets can be incorporated into a small quantity of welcome food. Always round the weight of the animal to the next whole number. During the treatment the animal does not lose either liveliness or appetite. The drug is well tolerated even by very tired animals and those with intercurrent illnesses.
