Aca Cerulen Teknofarma ear drops 25 ml + dropper

Therapeutic indications

For the treatment of ear mite infestations of pets (dogs, cats).

Dosage and administration

For ear use. Drop 2 to 10 drops of aca cerulen inside the ear, depending on the size of the animal, equal to approximately dichlorophene 0.41 mg/kg p.a., Piperonyl butoxide 1.04 mg/kg p.a., Pyrethrins 0.1 mg/kg p.a. The inside of the auricle must be uniformly greased with the drug. Both ears should be treated, even if only one ear appears to be affected. A light massage on the outside at the base of the ear helps to loosen the earwax. Remove as much earwax as possible with cotton and suitable tools. Finally, lightly grease the inside of the ear with a few drops of aca cerulen. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Repeat after a few days if necessary. If signs of illness persist, consult your veterinary surgeon. Your veterinarian should be consulted immediately if your cat or dog has profuse, nauseating ear discharge, continues to scratch, shakes or tilts its head, or exhibits pain. Also consult your veterinarian if the condition worsens during treatment, or if discomfort persists for more than 10 days.

Contraindications

Before using the veterinary medicine, carefully examine the inside of the pinna and the ear canal. If the animal has serious injuries or is known to have a perforated eardrum, consult your veterinary surgeon. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.
