Therapeutic indications

Acme's Strike deworming paste for horses is useful for the treatment of gastrointestinal infestations in equines.

The use of vermifuge allows you to reduce and eliminate horse intestinal parasites belonging to the strongyle and tapeworm family, in particular:

  • strongylus vulgaris, strongylus edentatus, strongylus equinus
  • triodonthophorus spp., cyathostominae
  • anoplocephala perfoliata, anoplocephala magna

Dosage and administration

For the treatment of infestations it is advisable to follow the dosage instructions in relation to the type of infestation of the horse.

  • Nematodes: administer 5 g of paste per 100 kg of live weight.
  • Cestodes: administer 10 g of paste per 100 kg of live weight.
  • Large and small strongyles: administer 5 g of paste per 100 kg of live weight.
  • Tapeworms: administer 10 g of paste per 100 kg of live weight.
