Therapeutic indications
Nutrition of foals during weaning, nutrition of orphaned foals or children of poor dairy producers, prevention of deficiencies and nutritional imbalances responsible for dod.
Primolatte is a complementary feed suitable for weaning lactating foals. Thanks to the presence of 1.9% lysine, it can be considered a feed with a high biological content, palatable and digestible. The product is recommended for weaning foals or in any case after the fourth week of life. Primolatte is also useful for transitioning the foal to solid foods. Furthermore, the feed is useful in cases of mineral and vitamin deficiencies which represent the main causes of orthopedic growth pathologies and in this way helps horses to become robust and with intact joints. It stands out for its very high biological value (Lysine 1.9%) and for its complete digestibility in infants. These characteristics make it the ideal food to feed foals from the first month of life. Subjects fed with this complementary feed are protected from the mineral and vitamin deficiencies responsible for the main orthopedic growth disorders (DOD). They continue to develop regularly during and after weaning as they do not undergo stressful diet changes and nutritional deficiencies. Regular development prevents compensatory growth responsible for DOD. It produces robust, well-formed subjects with intact joints. MANAGEMENT OF THE ORPHAN FOAL During the first three weeks of life, feed the foal exclusively with NANUT FOAL, reconstituted milk in a liquid state. Starting from the fourth week, dissolve the pellets in reconstituted milk: 50 g per liter of milk. From the fifth week continue the liquid feeding, leaving available according to the quantities indicated in the table below. The addition of 10% of NANUT FOAL powder to the pellets facilitates the transition to solid feeding. Format 20 kg.Composition
