Prazitel Dogs 104 tablets

Therapeutic indications

Prazitel for dogs is a dewormer for the treatment of mixed infections caused by roundworms and tapeworms of the following species:

Nematodes: roundworms: toxocara canis and toxascaris leonina (adult and immature forms).

Hookworms: uncinaria stenocephala and ancylostoma caninum (adults).

Whipworms: trichuris vulpis (adults).

Cestodes: tapeworms: echinococcus spp, (e. granulosus, e. multilocularis), taenia spp (t. hydatigena, t. pisiformis, t. taeniformis) and dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms).

Dosage and administration

Administer orally only.

For dosages, follow the instructions below: 15 mg/kg mg/kg body weight for febantel, 5 mg/kg for pyrantel (equivalent to 14.4 mg pyrantel embonate) and 5 mg/kg for praziquantel.

Use one tablet per 10 kg of body weight.

The tablets can be administered directly to the dog or hidden in food.

A fasting period is not necessary, either before or after treatment.

The tablet can be divided into two or four equal doses.

Dosage Guide:

 ½-2.5 kg: ¼ tablet

 2.6-5.0 kg: ½ tablet

 5.1-10.0 kg: 1 tablet

 10.1-15.0 kg: 1½ tablet

15.1-20.0 kg: 2 tablets

20.1-25.0 kg: 2½ tablets

25.1-30.0 kg:3 tablets

30.1-35.0 kg: 3½ tablets

35.1-40.0 kg: 4 tablets

> 40.1 kg: 1 tablet every 10 kg.
