Therapeutic indications

Smigol is an oral supplement for the reduction of diarrheal discharges and water and electrolyte losses. Improved absorption of electrolytes.

Its composition supports and improves the protection of the epithelium from pathogens, pro-inflammatory cytokines, necrosing enzymes and antigens that increase inflammation of the intestinal mucosa. Thanks to the preservation of the absorption capacity of the epithelium, Smigol allows less passage of toxins into the circulation and therefore an improvement in the horse's state of health.

Dosage and administration

The use of the powder is advisable in foals without a swallowing reflex, in this case it is advisable to place the quantity to be administered in a suitable container and shake, gradually adding hot water until a homogeneous suspension is obtained (150 ml of water for 60 grams of Smigol).

Leave to cool and administer orally via nasoesophageal probe.

60 g (two measuring spoons) per 100 kg of body weight per day.

In acute phenomenologies, repeat the administration every 12 hours for a period varying from one to seven days, until the symptoms remit.

Each measuring spoon contains 30 g of Smigol.
