Therapeutic indications
tèramicotic shampoo adjuvant in the treatment of malassezia dermatitis and dermatophytosis. Malassezia infection is frequent in canine dermatology, together with pyoderma.
Like most dermatological diseases, it is due to alteration of the most superficial layers of the epidermis which results in a greater ability of bacteria to cause infection and of yeasts to proliferate and irritate the skin.
A double infection often develops, so the combined action of the teramicotic molecules allows all microorganisms to be treated without damaging the skin barrier.
The chlorhexidine-climbazole 2% association makes tetramicotic exceptional in the management of dermatitis in which a bacterial and yeast infection is simultaneously present, and the presence of ceramides allows the integrity of the surface lipid film to be preserved or restored.
