The Fit-aroma® of MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE CARDIAC contains ginseng. Cardiovascular benefits attributed to ginseng include cardioprotection, anti-hypertensive effects, and attenuates cardiac hypertrophy and heart damage. The ginsenoids of Panax ginseng modulate vasomotor function, reduce the aggregation function of platelets, modulate the release of involuntary neurotransmitters and improve the lipid profile. This ginseng extract suppresses cardiomyocyte apoptosis. The ginsenoids of Panax ginseng act on the peripheral release of serotonin in dogs, therefore they act by increasing resistance to stress and counteracting it. Recent studies suggest that the antioxidant and organ-protective actions of ginseng are related to the more effective synthesis of nitric oxide (NO) in the endothelium of the lungs, heart and kidneys. The ginsenoids in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE CARDIAC are only partially decomposed by gastric juices and metabolised by intestinal bacteria. The resulting metabolites are absorbed from the intestine. Long-term consumption of ginseng extract is healthy and significantly reduces reperfusion damage in cardiac ischemia.

Technical specifications

PROTEIN: In order to maintain lean mass and avoid cachexia, the protein level is not decreased. Taurine and L-carnitine levels are increased to compensate for the taurine deficiency observed in some cardiomyopathies and optimize the metabolism of long and medium chain fatty acids.
