SODIOVET with Inulin

Complementary feed for dogs, cats and other animals, made up of an association of mineral salts, glucose and inulin.

Directions:

Useful for reducing the duration and extent of diarrhea. Sodivet is the only isotonic glucosaline solution with prebiotic for the oral rehydration of animals which allows for quicker resolution of diarrhea with easy administration even by the pet owner.

Action:

The presence of an adequate supply of inulin (prebiotic) allows a correct intestinal flora to be re-established more quickly and therefore a quicker recovery from the pathology, as well as guaranteeing optimal reabsorption of electrolytes lost during diarrhoea. It allows better reabsorption of electrolytes in the colon thanks to their coupled transport with short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) produced from the prebiotic.

How to use:

ACUTE DIARRHEA: to restore hydration over 24 hours and replenish mineral and water losses, administer, one or more times a day, the solution obtained by diluting 1 sachet of Sodiovet with 125 ml of water.

SPORTS ACTIVITY, TRAVEL, HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL TEMPERATURES: Sodiovet can be administered by diluting 1 sachet in 500 ml of water and administering "ad libitum" to the animal.

It is recommended to start oral rehydration therapy with small quantities (especially to avoid vomiting) and then proceed with larger quantities.

CONVALESCENCE PERIODS: it is recommended to consult the veterinary doctor who, in his opinion, may indicate different methods of administration.
