Therapeutic indications

Mineral complementary feed. ALS is calculated to balance the mineral needs of dogs fed traditionally, i.e. with mixtures of meat (or fish, milk, cheese and soy) combined with pasta (or rice, bread, breadsticks, cereal flakes) and vegetables.

Dosage and administration

Adult dogs: 4 g per 10 kg of weight, per day. Puppies and nursing dogs: 6 g per 10 kg of weight, per day. Pregnant bitches (early gestation weight): 6 g per 10 kg of weight per day. Elderly dogs: 2 g per 10 kg of weight, per day. The supplement must be divided into the number of meals of the day and mixed with your usual food. The doses indicated correspond to the quantity of mineral salts to be administered every 10 kg of animal weight to compensate for deficiencies in the home diet and satisfy needs. If you use flakes or complete foods already integrated with minerals, with ash content between 2% and 5%, daily supplementation with half the quantity of als is sufficient. If you use complete foods integrated with ash greater than 10% or if you adopt diets that usually contain meat plus minced bones or meat and bone meal, continuous mineral supplementation is not necessary: ​​supplementation with halved quantities of als for two non-consecutive days per week is sufficient and indispensable.
