Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM cannula: safe and precise instrument for infusions and sampling in small and medium-sized animals, reduces discomfort and guarantees maximum hygiene and reliability.

Description

Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM is a cannula designed to offer maximum precision and safety in the administration of liquids or blood samples in the veterinary field. Designed with high quality materials, it ensures gentle penetration and significantly reduces the animal's discomfort during the procedure. The 25 mm dimensions and G22 caliber make it a tool suitable for both small and medium-sized animals, allowing easy management and greater versatility of use. The cannula has an ergonomic structure that facilitates the operator's work, ensuring a good grip and optimal control during operations. Thanks to the perfect combination of size, resistance and flexibility, Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM is a reliable choice in daily clinical practices and in emergency situations, always maintaining high standards of hygiene and contamination prevention.

The sterile packaging protects the cannula until use, ensuring maximum safety for patient and operator. The sharp needle with advanced cutting technology allows precise penetration and minimizes tissue trauma. Each package is designed to ensure practicality, optimal conservation and ready availability even in the event of work overload or sudden emergencies in the clinic. It stands out thanks to an identifying color that facilitates the recognition of the caliber even when managing large quantities of instruments, preventing errors and waste of time in choosing the appropriate size.

Thanks to its composition, Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM reduces the risk of complications related to cannulation, such as infections and vascular damage, making it perfect for both rapid procedures and prolonged infusions.

Composition

The Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM cannula is made up of a high-strength stainless steel needle, carefully sharpened to allow precise and low-traumatic entry into the vein. The body of the cannula is made of transparent medical plastic material, free of latex and substances that could cause allergic reactions or local irritation. This ensures maximum tolerability in contact with fabrics in both temporary and prolonged applications. The universal Luer-Lock connector guarantees compatibility with the majority of infusion and collection devices present in the clinical field, offering a secure and leak-free connection.

Each component is produced respecting strict quality standards to avoid contamination and maintain optimal performance even after long periods of storage. The single sterile packaging protects the integrity of the product until the moment of use. The plastic materials used were chosen to guarantee structural rigidity but also sufficient flexibility to adapt to the most different application contexts, minimizing the risk of bending or clogging of the cannula during use. The absence of phthalates and PVC ensures further safety for the animal and for veterinary staff.

Each production batch is subjected to functionality, sterility and mechanical resistance tests, so as to guarantee a final product that complies with current regulations for veterinary medical devices.

Contraindications

The Neo Delta Ven T G22 25MM cannula must not be used in subjects who have experienced previous known allergic reactions to the materials constituting the product, such as medical stainless steel or specific plastic polymers used. The use is contraindicated in the presence of skin infections or lesions at the insertion site, as well as in animals suffering from pathologies that involve vascular fragility also called vasculopathy or coagulation anomalies which could expose to hematomas or prolonged bleeding following cannulation.

It is not recommended in very small or weak subjects where smaller caliber cannulae are indicated, to avoid trauma to the blood vessels or infiltration. Use in agitated, uncontainable animals or in the presence of difficulty in identifying the vein should be avoided. Reusing the cannula is absolutely not recommended to avoid cross-infection or contamination. In cases of documented hypersensitivity to synthetic materials or metals, evaluation by the veterinarian of suitable alternatives is recommended.

Precautions

It is essential to check the integrity of the sterile package before use: in case of tampering, do not use the cannula. It is recommended to take maximum hygiene precautions, wash your hands thoroughly and use sterile gloves during the positioning phase to reduce the risk of infection. After cannulation, frequently monitor the insertion site to promptly detect any signs of inflammation, infiltration or occlusion of the device.

Disposal method: after use, the cannula must be immediately disposed of in containers for sharps according to current regulations on the disposal of used healthcare devices. Keep out of reach of children and animals until completely disposed of. In case of painful stimuli or redness after cannulation, remove the cannula immediately and consult a veterinarian. For animals requiring multiple or long-term venous access, alternate insertion sites to minimize the risk of repeated venous damage.
